Verify Merced Voter Registration

The service is for a voter checking his or her own record, not for browsing everyone registered in Merced. The official page says a result can confirm whether the voter is registered, the name under which the voter is registered, and political party. Its static capture did not expose the live form's personal identity labels, so those labels should be read on the current secure form rather than guessed from an older or third-party description.

Confidential in California. Identification details and protected-voter contact data are not general public data. Elections Code sections 2166 through 2166.9 provide special voter confidentiality protections.
Safe at Home adds another protection. California's Secretary of State provides a substitute mailing address and mail forwarding as part of a safety plan for qualifying participants. A controlled voter file must not expose an address shielded by that program or a related confidential-voter rule.
Request California Voter Registration Data
The California voter file request instructions govern Merced records within the state file. Merced Registration Status Changes
California's VoteCal and federal registration processes account for address confirmation, inactive status, death or other legally supplied updates, and voter-requested cancellation. An inactive record is not the same thing as a record that never existed.
